Meet Dr. Kaylee
Dr. Kaylee English has been focusing on and specializing in pediatric chiropractic since 2016. She is also Webster certified and has been treating local mamas for pre- and postnatal wellness care; as this ensures proper pelvic alignment to aid in better labor and delivery, as well as more comfort for mama during pregnancy.
She knew she wanted to focus on pregnancy care during her time in school when she surprisingly had a lot of exposure to pregnant patients. These patients seemed to gravitate towards her in clinic and she also had a lot of experience. at a local women’s VOA in Portland, OR.
She is a Washington state native and grew up in Marysville. She achieved her undergraduate studies at Western Washington University where she was on the path of a Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology, when she discovered she wanted to be a chiropractor. She simultaneously obtained her Bachelors in Human Biology and her DC degree at University of Western States in Portland, Oregon.
Upon graduation, Dr. K immediately enrolled in the International Chiropractic Pediatrics Association (ICPA) diplomate program to obtain certification for pediatrics. She has completed all training on pediatric adjusting techniques and majority of the lecture courses. She is nearly finished with all of the requirements and is well on her way to obtaining the official certification. She has been Webster certified since 2016.
Dr. Kaylee became a mother herself in August 2018 to a beautiful daughter named Aubree. When she discovered she was pregnant, she immediately called around looking for a prenatal chiropractor. She discovered Dr Elise and they have been friends ever since! She was adjusted regularly from 14-40 weeks and for her first delivery, only endured 10 hours of natural labor! Aubree was born naturally in the comfort of a local birth center. Dr. K knew the benefits and rewards of chiropractic care during pregnancy before being pregnant herself and is passionate about spreading this knowledge!
When Dr K is not in the office, she is spending time with her husband and daughter. They enjoy time outdoors and spending quality time as a family. They are typically hiking, walking, and travelling to the coast. (Long Beach is Dr K’s FAVORITE)
Dr K has some exciting ideas to bring into the office. Having gone through post-partum depression herself, she would like to start a monthly support group with the local mama’s. As well as maintaining the BirthFit courses.
